Il chipset Intel Z270 assicura le prestazioni ottimali per il gaming, la Realtà Virtuale e le applicazioni multimediali in abbinamento alle CPU Intel Kaby Lake di Settima Generazione ma è compatibile anche con le CPU Skylake di Sesta Generazione offrendo così un miglioramento delle performance del sistema solo con l'upgrade della scheda madre.
